What attracts students to ENVS programs?
What attracts applicants to university Environmental Science programs? The fourth publication in Academica Group's series of UCAS White Papers, "Attracting Students to Environmental Science," draws on national results from the 2009 UCAS and observes that Environmental Science applicants are pragmatic careerists, attracted by co-op and undergraduate research opportunities, as well as ease of admission. These applicants also appreciate their own environment -- campus foods services, residences, and off-campus urban life. The white paper includes a graph of 50 key decision factors, and the weight given to them by EnviroSci applicants compared to all university applicants. UCAS White Paper #4 (PDF)
